Despite the bitterly cold weather and snow last week and temperatures of minus 2 degrees, no one was put off with everyone coming together to learn more about homelessness and to learn how vital fundraising can help.
We are hugely grateful to Pentillie Castle, and specifically to owners Sammie, Ted, Sarah and Marc, who have a long history of supporting the Armed Forces community, and proved themselves to be fabulous fundraisers.
This year, we’re at it again, celebrating Major Euan Fraser as he also rows the Atlantic, raising funds for Alabaré’s Homes for Veterans.
Our team of twelve amateur cyclists has taken on and conquered Race to the Sun, our epic 500km ride across Andalucía in southern Spain.
With great excitement, the Alabaré events team headed up to North Wales and the infamous Gwrych Castle for their very first Welsh BIG Sleep event on Friday, 22nd April.
Atlantic Nomads fundraising for Alabaré cross the finish line as record holders in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, which commenced in December.
Determined to build on the success of previous Big Sleep events, the team held the UK’s first and perhaps only BIG Sleep at the Tower of London.
