Volunteer for Alabaré
We are so grateful for the wonderful volunteers who dedicate their time to help support the homeless adults, young people, veterans and people with learning disabilities in our care.
If you have some time free and would like to join a team where we truly value you, then please do get in touch for a chat about how we can team up!
Perhaps you could help at one of our houses where we care for the homeless or look after adults with learning disabilities. Or maybe you could teach others how to cook nutritious food, paint or teach crafts? Or perhaps you are a keen gardener, in which case a few hours tending to flower beds and lawns can make all the difference! And if you have a specific skill such as hairdressing or chiropody and some time to gift to our clients we would love to hear from you.
We are also keen to hear from you if you are interested in becoming a Trustee at Alabaré, helping to champion and steer our charity.
Please do give us a call.

Volunteers work alongside our staff teams to add extra value to the lives of those we support by sharing their time, skills and experiences. In return, volunteers can take advantage of the training courses we run and gain new skills. By joining our volunteering team, you will enhance our clients’ lives and enrich your own while making new friends.

Help us do more
Alabaré was founded out of the simple act of providing a place of shelter and safety to help one homeless man, Bob. Today, it remains our goal to help people who are vulnerable build bright futures, homes and minds for themselves.
Jobs
We are lucky to have a rich network of staff, ambassadors, trustees and patrons across our region of the south and south west of England and across Wales. We’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in joining our team.
