Mark’s story is a reminder of the power of consistent support, understanding, and determination can help homeless with housing need and lead to independent living.
This week, we welcomed the Director of the Office for Veterans Affairs, Anisha Worbs, to visit our homes and services for ex-Armed Forces personnel in Wiltshire.
Eight residents from our Young People Service and our Homes for Veterans Service completed a four-day course joining the Power of Polo’s final residential experience of the year.
On Friday 11th October we joined veterans self-builders and partners to mark the official opening of Stirling House in Plymouth.
Fred Thomas, MP for Plymouth Moor View, joined construction industry and charity partners to officially launch the Veterans Self-Build Scheme at Barne Barton, Plymouth
Simon sought help from our Chippenham homeless service after experiencing a period of rough sleeping due to the breakdown of his relationship, over time, Simon revealed that he was a victim of domestic abuse.
Thank you so much to everyone who took part in our inaugural Alabaré Summer Raffle. We are delighted that together we have raised £4,314 towards our support for homeless and vulnerable people in our communities. The raffle winners were drawn on 16th September 2024 and the winning ticket holders have all been notified.
