This week, we welcomed the Director of the Office for Veterans Affairs, Anisha Worbs, to visit our homes and services for ex-Armed Forces personnel in Wiltshire.
In June, we proudly joined Op FORTITUDE as partners, allowing us to expand our reach and offer assistance to even more veterans in need. Since this partnership began, we have seen a significant increase in referrals.
Alabaré is delighted to have benefited from £10,000 in funding as a result of a partnership between Wiltshire Council and its contractor Tarmac.
The grants that The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and Greenwich Hospital make to Alabaré, mean that naval veterans across England and Wales who have struggled in their civilian lives can receive the help they need to overcome challenges and build new and positive lives for themselves.
The funds will support our Homes for Veterans service, which provides care and accommodation to homeless and vulnerable veterans.
