ALABARÉ is passing on our congratulations to Salisbury Football Club for a successful season, after our ground-breaking partnership with the Whites has raised more than £16,000 for the charity.

The club and chairman, Ali Alhamad, kindly agreed to donate revenue generated through bar sales at the Ray Mac Stadium to ALABARÉ during the 2025/26 campaign.

These donations have been supporting ALABARÉ’s work with people at risk of homelessness in Salisbury, as well as across Wiltshire, the South West, and Wales.

The innovative partnership with Salisbury Football Club has specifically gone into efforts to aid clients’ recovery from alcohol misuse, offering long-term support to those affected towards positive futures, and managing their addictions.

We’re delighted to confirm that the partnership will continue into next season, with the bar revenue helping to further the mission of providing homes, restoring hearts, and empowering minds.

ALABARÉ supports around 3,200 individuals each year, with around 10% indicating that they needed support with alcohol and drug misuse.

More than half (56%) have then engaged with addiction services, reporting improvements in their well-being and reductions in their substance use.

Throughout the season, the partnership has helped boost awareness of our work within the Salisbury FC fan community, with matchday programme content, collections at the ground, and volunteers from the charity’s services helping out as car park stewards before home matches.

Earlier in the season, Whites Chairman, Ali Alhamad, visited ALABARÉ Place, which has more than 40 supported living spaces for adults at risk of homelessness in Salisbury.

It was a chance for him to learn more about the charity’s efforts to break the cycle of homelessness, and how the donations brought in by the partnership with Salisbury Football Club are directly helping people accessing the services there.

During the visit, he said: “It’s of extreme importance to me that I have seen the work that’s being done at ALABARÉ. It gives me a warm feeling in my heart when I see the good that the charity’s doing and being invited to find out more has been greatly appreciated.”

Great Season On The Pitch

A win from the final home game of the campaign against Horsham Town, followed by a useful draw in the last match, away to Hemel Hempstead Town, has meant a record season for Salisbury Football Club.

The Whites have achieved their highest-ever points total and position in the National League South table, since the phoenix club was formed in 2015.

Thank You to the Whites Community

Bringing ALABARÉ together in partnership with Salisbury Football Club has also led to other direct contributions to the charity from fans.

Several supporters joined our BIG Sleep at Stonehenge last November, while long-standing Whites fan Harry Iles is due to take on the gruelling Endure 24 run in Reading this June, in support of the charity’s mission to break the cycle of homelessness.

ALABARÉ Chief Executive, Andrew Lord, said:

“The partnership between Salisbury Football Club and us has been successful for both sides, and we’re very pleased to see it continue and build into its second season, following the well-deserved summer break for the players and coaching staff. Congratulations to them on a rollercoaster of a campaign, which has ultimately ended on a high.

“Our thanks must go out to the chairman, Ali Alhamad, for his dedication to the Salisbury community and in supporting those at risk of homelessness. As the number of people sleeping rough and living in temporary accommodation continues to rise, the demand for support services such as ALABARÉ also increases. Having the backing of the Whites and their fans makes a huge difference. We’re grateful for the collaboration and already looking forward to next season and even brighter days on and off the pitch.”
