Alabaré delivers mental health support services for people in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW). Working alongside mental health charity Second Step, women’s mental health organisation Missing Link and Black-led mental health organisation Nilaari – we provide expert, timely mental health support for people living in BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire.
Access Community Mental Health
Alabaré’s Access Community Mental Health team help people in Wiltshire aged 16+ find the right mental health support, when they need it.
Working alongside you, our peer-led team will help you set and achieve your goals, access local mental health services and resources, develop coping skills, and plan for greater independence and long-term wellbeing.

Riverside Sanctuary
Alabaré’s Riverside Sanctuary in Wiltshire is open 365 days a year 4 – 11pm and offers a calm, welcoming space for anyone aged 16+ seeking free, confidential mental health help.
Friends, family, and professionals are welcome.
Walk-in – You can find us at Riverside Sanctuary, 2 Watt Road, Salisbury SP2 7UD – follow the signs to the rear of the building.
Crisis Homes
Alabaré’s Peer Respite homes in Chippenham and Swindon provide short-term, 24/7 residential support for people in mental health crisis.
Referred via the local Mental Health Intensive Support Team – these safe, therapeutic spaces for mental health help for guests manage depression, suicidal thoughts, and emotional distress, with compassionate care from Alabaré colleagues working alongside NHS teams.

16 years or over
Willing and able to work with us safely
Registered with a GP within Wiltshire
Anyone seeking mental health support cannot be:
- at risk of immediate harm
- in need of immediate medical treatment
- unable to work collaboratively with us safely
- intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
If a level of mental health support is needed higher than we can provide, please contact the local NHS Mental Health team or dial 111.
