ALABARÉ VETERANS SELF-BUILD SCHEME
The Alabaré Veterans Self-Build Scheme is the connection between our Homes for Veterans and a pathway towards employability and a home that they helped build.
In partnership with renowned construction companies, veterans take part in multiple training programmes, gain nationally recognised qualifications, and have access to support with setting up and managing their new home.
At the end of the course, veterans will have the option to rent one of the homes they have helped to build from our Housing Association partners. Some veterans go on to employment in the construction industry, while others find alternative future careers; however, all benefit from the renewed self-confidence and positive self-esteem that the Self-Build scheme brings.
