Drop-In Services
Through our Somewhere Safe to Go and Comfort Zone services, we focus on early support, helping people before a crisis puts them on the streets.
A range of key partner agencies attend the Drop-In, including health, support, and advice services.

HOMELESS ACCOMMODATION & SUPPORT. LET’S BREAK THE CYCLE TOGETHER!
Homelessness can affect anyone – relationship breakdown, loss of employment, and ill health are all common reasons, but there are many others.
Experiencing homelessness does not always mean sleeping rough. There are many types of homelessness; it could mean sleeping in temporary or unsafe accommodation, sleeping in cars or tents or moving between friends and ‘sofa surfing’.
HELP FOR ROUGH SLEEPERSSUPPORT SHAPED BY EACH PERSON’S STORY
Within our homeless accommodation and drop-in services, we support hundreds of people who are homeless every year.
We help each person with their finances, health and self-esteem and provide a stepping-stone approach back to independent living.
We also have a dedicated drug and alcohol service in Weston-Super-Mare that takes both self-referrals and referrals from agencies.
HOMELESS ACCOMMODATION & DROP-IN SUPPORT
Click the icons on the map for our homeless services. Referrals must come through the local authority Housing Options team, although our drug and alcohol service in Weston-Super-Mare takes referrals from other agencies and through self-referral.

HEALING TOGETHER: A SAFE SPACE FOR CLIENTS AND THEIR DOGS
Alabaré welcomes well-behaved dogs into our drop-in centres and homes, recognising the vital role pets play in emotional wellbeing and recovery. It’s part of our commitment to provide homes, restore hearts, and empower minds; ensuring people feel safe, accepted, and supported.
While policies apply, to ensure safety and comfort for all, we also gratefully accept donations to help care for our clients’ dogs. Because healing happens best when people, and their companions, feel truly at home.
GET INVOLVED
Your support helps someone find safety, hope, and healing. Get involved with our work by fundraising, taking part in an event or volunteering your time.
Legacy Giving
By leaving a gift in your Will, you’ll ensure we can continue to offer warmth, safety, and long-term support. Legacies provide hot meals on a freezing night, an emergency bed, and the chance for someone to move off the streets for good.
