WHAT WE DO
At ALABARÉ, we support thousands of people each year with the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home, a heart that is restored, and a mind that is empowered. We provide more than just supported accommodation, with transitional housing and support services that aspire to break the cycle of homelessness.
HOMELESSNESS
Our homes and drop-in centres support hundreds of people experiencing homelessness every year. Our dedicated supported accommodation team help each individual with their finances, health and self-esteem, providing a tailored approach to independent living.
HOMELESS SERVICES
VETERANS
As an Op FORTITUDE, we provide support services for veterans, including homes for veterans across the South West and Wales and ALABARÉ Veterans’ Self-Build. We take referrals from across the UK. We are also a VALOUR-recognised centre for the South West, providing ex-servicepeople with easier access to local services across health, housing and employment.
VETERANS SERVICES
MENTAL HEALTH
We offer support services for people in Wiltshire who are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. This includes a Salisbury drop-in facility, open 365 days a year, for Wiltshire residents and a counselling service.
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
YOUNG PEOPLE
We support vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, including those leaving the care system, as well as young parents and their babies and young unaccompanied asylum seekers in our supported accommodation in Wiltshire and Hampshire. We help them gain the skills and confidence to lead successful adult lives.
YOUNG PEOPLE SUPPORT
LEARNING DISABILITIES
Our home and community support workers and Development Centres provide craft-based training opportunities and independent living skills for adults with learning disabilities, so everyone has choice and independence.
Our Emmaus Community is available for residents who want to live with others of the Christian faith.
HOME AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
PARENT & BABY
Our Parent and Baby Homes offer supported accommodation to nine young parents and mums-to-be in Salisbury and Andover. Our supported accommodation homes are for young people who are at risk of homelessness and either expecting or with a young child.
