ALABARÉ is urging job seekers to start 2026 with a career that changes lives, as demand for ethical jobs rises.

As January approaches, the busiest month for job changes, we’re calling on those looking for something different to embrace a ‘New Year New Career’ with purpose.

According to Totaljobs, 4 million people (11% of the UK workforce) look for new roles at the start of the year, while research from Cooperatives UK shows 40% of younger workers would quit a job lacking social value.

ALABARÉ offers exactly that: careers that make a tangible difference by supporting over 3,200 vulnerable individuals annually across the South West and Wales, helping to break the cycle of homelessness and improve mental health.
