Kyt Lyn Walken Joins ALABARÉ as Ambassador
We're thrilled to welcome internationally known tracker, outdoor educator and founder of The Way of Tracking, Kyt Lyn Walken, as an ALABARÉ Ambassador.
ALABARÉ is thrilled to welcome internationally known tracker, outdoor educator and founder of The Way of Tracking, Kyt Lyn Walken, as an Ambassador for the charity.
From the first conversation, it was clear that Kyt felt a real connection to our mission to break the cycle of homelessness.
ALABARÉ’s Christian ethos, values of compassion, and the focus on supporting the whole person — providing homes, restoring hearts, and empowering minds — really resonated with her.
Kyt Lyn Walken has a global community that follows her work in nature connection, wellbeing, and personal growth, and she’s passionate about using her platform to shine a light on the challenges people experiencing homelessness face, and the hope and support we offer.
Kyt Lyn Walken said:
“ALABARÉ’s work really touched me. The homelessness crisis is growing – and it becomes more visible every time I’m in the UK. Their belief that every person deserves dignity, safety, and hope is something I care deeply about. I’m proud to stand with them and help share their story.”
As part of her new role, Kyt will be:
- Supporting some of our outdoor wellbeing activities
- Taking part in fundraising and community days
- Helping share ALABARÉ’s mission across her global network
James Tomlinson, ALABARÉ’s Director of Strategic Communications, said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kyt Lyn Walken. Her energy, kindness and passion for people align beautifully with who we are. She’ll help bring our story to so many new people – in the UK, Europe and the US.”
ALABARÉ has been supporting people who are homeless or at risk for 35 years, with more than 3,200 clients accessing services every year.
We’re looking forward to the journey ahead with Kyt by our side.
