Reverse Advent Calendar supporting people who are homeless this Christmas
Email enquiry Call: 01722 322882At this time of year, we know many organisations and businesses want to show their support and we are grateful to you all.
We ensure every homeless person in our Alabaré community receives something useful and worthwhile during the Christmas period. Every item will have been kindly donated by members of the public.
Our Reverse Advent Calendar is a great way to ensure that your gift will be meaningful and a worthy contribution to those who may have lived some time on the streets or are homeless.
For 2024, we have devised a simple Reverse Advent Calendar to guide you towards the gifts and tokens that our clients find the most useful.
The idea is that over the coming days, you team up with colleagues, associates, club members or fellow students to gather the suggested items together.
Although set out as an Advent Calendar, we need the items to come into our Head Office in Salisbury in time for us to re-distribute. The deadline for receiving gifts is therefore Tuesday 3rd December 2024. So there’s no time like the present to begin your collections.
We ask that items be new (clothing to still have tags) and any best-before dates extend into January 2025.
Please do call our Head Office on 01722 322882 with the time and day you wish to arrive with your gifts, we are sorry but we cannot collect your gifts so please deliver them to our offices at Riverside House, 2 Watt Road, Salisbury, SP2 7UD our normal opening hours are Monday-Friday 9 am – 5 pm.
Thank you very much for getting involved. Please rest assured your help will go directly to those we care for in our Alabaré homes.

Alabaré is a great charity for helping people. People shouldn’t be homeless. Everyone should have the opportunity to have a home.

Alabaré was founded out of the simple act of providing a place of shelter to one homeless man, Bob. Today, it remains our goal to help those in vulnerable situations build bright futures, homes and minds for themselves.
