Fundraising helps ensure we can keep providing life changing care and support to homeless adults, young people and armed forces veterans.
To help achieve their fundraising goals our fantastic supporters put on all kinds of activities to generate funds; from quiz nights to raffles, to cycle rides and held cake sales for work colleagues or washed cars or done babysitting. Whatever you do, no matter how creative we’re keen to support you every step of the way.
Where does your money go?
There are a myriad of ways that your fundraising will help support our clients and services. Whilst we receive funding for accommodation services, additional funds enable us to provide essential individual support so that a vulnerable person can leave behind the cycle of homelessness for good. Here are some examples:
- £50 could help a homeless person on the first steps back to employment
- £125 pays for a homeless young person to be trained in a professional based qualification
- £250 can help a homeless young people move successfully into their own home along with a pack of living essentials
- £950 can refurbish and “future proof” a room in our homeless homes and support a homeless person off the streets
