We are pleased to invite you to an introductory webinar on VALOUR – the UK Government’s new nationwide veteran support system backed by £50M of funding.
Led by ALABARÉ (the VALOUR Recognised Centre for the South West) in partnership with Armed Forces Equine Charity, Defence Garden Scheme, Defence Medical Welfare Service, Icarus, the Poppy Factory, and the Warrior Programme, VALOUR brings together expertise across housing, health, wellbeing, and employment to ensure veterans can access the right support, at the right time, in the right place.
What to expect
During this one-hour webinar, we will:
- Introduce VALOUR
- Explore how the partnership operates in for the Armed Forces Community and their families in the South West
- Highlight the range of integrated support available, including:
- Homelessness prevention
- Mental health services
- Employment pathways
- Community outreach
You will also hear directly from partner organisations delivering frontline support, sharing insights into collaborative working, innovative approaches, and the impact of coordinated care in helping veterans build confidence, independence, and positive futures.
Q&A Session
The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A, offering an opportunity to ask questions and explore how you can connect with and benefit from VALOUR.
