The Spinnaker Tower Abseil Challenge

Are you brave enough? Like to build mental strength and have a massive sense of achievement, or build self-belief and prove to others how fearsome you are?

Join us for an abseil 100 meters up in the air.

How does it work:

Whatever your motive, this is a truly breathtaking opportunity to challenge yourself and push your self-belief to the limit! Although not for the faint-hearted, we will be with you every step of the way (no pun intended), providing you with quality training before your descent 100 meters up in the air. Once you have mastered the decision not to let fear inhibit you, there really is nothing stopping you. What else will you achieve?

This exclusive charity event is for participants from HMS Collingwood.

Each year at Alabaré, we support around 2,000 people who need our help because they are either homeless or vulnerable or need support to live active lives independently. We want to make sure we are always here for those who need us, but to do so must raise at least £1.6 million pounds each year.  Your fundraising support will help us be here for those in need. Monies raised from this event will support homeless veterans who have needed our support in Gosport where we have two Alabaré Homes for Veterans.

We encourage all participants to pledge to raise a minimum of £300 per person.

All participants must be 16 years of age or older on the date of the event. Those aged 16-18 must have a parent/guardian consent form to participate (this will be emailed to you) and attend with a registered adult.

Are there any health restrictions for abseiling?

Please see the health and safety guidance stipulated by Spinnaker Tower before signing up: https://www.spinnakertower.co.uk/abseil-terms-and-conditions/  Alabaré cannot amend or overrule these rules.
