With two fantastic races for you on Saturday 13th September 2025 we’re inviting you to take a stand against homelessness and join us!

Each year, Alabaré supports thousands of people who come to us needing a warm safe home and support to rebuild their lives. Support us by…

  • 10K Speedway – Race to achieve your personal best on the iconic Thruxton Race Circuit with our brand new 10K Speedway.
  • Colour Dash – Fun. Loud. Family-friendly. One mad lap of the race circuit filled with colour, music and foam.
  • Limited-time Super Saver and Early Bird ticket options.

Bring your family and do both races!

Get ready to achieve your personal best on the iconic Thruxton Race Circuit.

Thruxton Race Circuit is the UK’s fastest motor racing circuit and thus this smooth track is the perfect running ground for beginners and experienced runners alike.
This flat, tarmac track could be the opportunity to try for a personal best, to take part in your first timed race, or have your first crack at a 10K.

You’ll have encouragement and support all the way with water and volunteers to keep you motivated on your way to the finish.

Bring the family along for the Colour Dash afternoon event.

So whether you’re having a Blue Monday, enjoying some Purple Rain, or looking out for 99 Red Balloons, there is a colour station to meet your music mood! So grab your friends and get ready to strike a pose!

Together, we can help them look forward to a bright future again.

As a charity, we have been helping people in who are vulnerable or homeless for over 30 years and in that time we’ve supported over 34,000 people.  Every day, people who have been in crisis leave us to move on to new lives and new hope.

We can only provide this life-changing support thanks to the generosity of caring people like you.

Please support our homeless charity so we can be there in someone’s hour of need, to give them a safe home, professional support and practical help.

Help others like Joe

We often don’t have time to stop to think about the impact that our gifts can make, but for someone who’s hit the lowest point in their life, knowing someone is there for them can be the reason to keep going.

Joe was in a bad way when he arrived at our Wiltshire service, having lost his home and subsequently, his job after a relationship breakdown.  He was very hungry and his anxiety was causing him to be quite unwell. Joe (not his real name) had first come to us 14 years beforehand as a young care leaver before he joined a shared house. Sadly, though the landlord sold the property which meant Joe was evicted and he ended up living on the street for some time.

Thankfully, we could once again give him the vital support he needed. Joe says he now feels hopeful for the future.

Our history

Alabaré was founded out of the simple act of providing a place of shelter and safety to help one homeless man, Bob. Today, it remains our goal to help people who are vulnerable build bright futures, homes and minds for themselves.
