Our Prison Art Project provides art materials for people in prison, enabling them to take part in, and benefit from, creative activities. Applicants choose from several art packs which are supplied for cell recreation or as part of a prison art educational programme.
If individuals submit finished work back to us, we offer them for sale, and if sold, 50% of the sale is credited to the artist, enabling them to purchase more art materials to sustain their work. This step we feel is crucial in building confidence and developing a sense of self-worth, which is vital in the artist’s eventual rehabilitation.
Each piece marks a transformation; a purchase today helps carry it forward.
All artwork is backed on mountboard and wrapped. IF window-mounted, they can be easily removed to be displayed in a frame of your choice. Measurements given are of the artwork without the mount.
Artwork will be sent to you by 2nd-class tracked, and we aim to send within 5 working days of order receipt.
