Violet's Story

Following a break down family relations, 16 year old Violet found herself homeless.

She managed to sleep on the sofa at her friends house but this soon became difficult and she was sometimes forced to sleep on the streets. With nowhere to turn, Violet was offered a place at our specialist home for vulnerable and homeless young women.

With the support of our team, Violet has started college, which she really enjoys. She has also been back in contact with her parents.

“Alabaré has given me the hope and future I didn’t think I would ever have. I am the happiest I have ever been. I now have independence, I am at college and I make my own decisions. I feel safe at Alabaré, the staff look out for me and they give me the support I need. I can’t thank them enough.”
